ABOUT US:

The Mothers’ Club was founded in February 2006 and has continued to grow in membership and service to our school. Membership applications are available at the link below or in the front office. You can also email us at VCHSMothersClub@gmail.com to request an application. Annual membership is $15. A general membership meeting is held at the beginning of each school year to welcome our old and new members and share plans for the upcoming year.

The main purpose of the Mothers’ Club is to provide services as needed to the Vandebilt Catholic High School community. We also raise funds during the year to donate to the academic and spiritual needs of the school. (Annual dues go towards this donation as well). This donation is generally made at the end of the year to a department or an area of the school that touches every child. The Mothers’ Club has also established an Endowment Fund to be designated for the academic needs of our school, and a portion of our funds are donated to this Endowment fund at the end of the year as well.

The Mothers’ Club activities are determined by school administration and planned around the school calendar. Some of the many ways the Mothers’ Club serves are through prayer support; sponsoring and/or assisting the administration with school events for our students and parents, including Senior Reception, New Parent Orientation, Grandparents’ Day, Veterans’ Day, Senior Breakfast, and Teacher Appreciation Week; and fundraising through operating the bookstore on campus called the Mothers' Club Shoppe, monthly donut sales after school Mass, and selling king cake slices during Mardi Gras season. We share many of the activities with other school organizations and encourage every member to participate in some form of service for the school. Prayer support is a vital part of our service, and anyone is welcome to join the Mothers’ Club. We also host monthly rosaries.
